The First Few Hours

Jordan’s Grandmother had bought him two little dolls. They were from Wal-Mart and we would suggest every pregnant woman out there rush out and buy them.

They are the precious moments dolls that say “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. Angels watch me through the night, and keep me in their blessed sight, Amen” The doll dressed as an angel was with Jordan every moment of his life, and the one dressed as a baby boy was in bed with Jen during recovery.

Our son Zachary kept running back and forth between the NICU and the recovery room, videotaping Jordan’s precious time, and sharing the video with Jen so she could see how he was doing. Jordan’s daddy was able to stay by his side. After five hours of recovery Jen was finally able to see and touch our sweet son.

Because of Zach’s hard work, we have preserved on video such priceless moments as Jordan’s first bath, the doctors taking his measurements, and his visits with friends and family. This tape will be cherised for all the rest of our lives.
